Goddess Braid

Goddess braids are basically thicker versions of cornrows that have taken the fashion world by storm. These are braided very close to the scalp and can be styled in a number of ways from a bun to a faux hawk!

They originated in Ancient Africa and have become one of the most popular protective styles within the last few years. And as the name suggests, these styles make you look nothing less than a beautiful goddess!

A bit more defined than standard cornrows, these braids involve parting your hair into a unique design. Depending on the design and length of goddess braids, it can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to create and they usually last for up to 2 weeks.

We can create these braids using your natural hair or hair extensions. Generally, there are at least two different braid designs that go into creating the goddess braids.

The ends of the braids can either be made into a creative updo or worn down, depending on your preference. We can also use hair accessories like clips to add an exclusive element to your braids.
